Casual Articles

I have moved sites (and no longer do anime content)

Just an informal post to notify any of my old followers of this blog that I am now posting elsewhere. The content is completely different but if you would like to support me you can do so by heading over to 🦉

The Write Owl will primarily consist of my own creative work: short fiction, creative non-fiction and so forth. I am in the process of re-writing some of the film related posts on here to fit my new style so. As the title says, I have shifted from anime content simply because I don’t have as much time to watch it anymore. If you are interested, the last show I watched as it aired was New Game Season 2 back in September of 2017. Since then I have been what would be considered a casual fan picking up the odd show here and there.

As of right now, the blog has two of my most recent pieces of short fiction: ‘Babies Breath‘ and ‘Echoes of captive hands‘. In the queue I have other articles such as a non-fiction piece on how to make the most of a creative writing course and a research piece on the marketing strategies of MTV – the scope is pretty wide at the moment.

For those of you here for the film content, this will have a small presence on the new blog but I cannot guarantee you will automatically be a fan of my new work if you enjoyed the content found here.

Finally, I would like to thank all of you for a wonderful, if disorganised on my part, three years. The success of this blog back in 2016 through 2017 drove me to chase a career in writing and as the graduation date swiftly approaches, I cannot be more happy with my decision. Thank you for giving me the spirit to believe in myself.

Once again, that’s 🦉
